Description
Independence Hall was designed by Edmund Wooley and Andrew Hamilton and is an example of Georgian Style architecture. Georgian architecture is marked by love of symmetry, proportion and balance based on simple mathematical ratios, and restraint in detail.
Independence hall was is the building in which the American Declaration of Independence , the Articles of Confederation, and the United States Constitution were debated and ratified. Independence Hall has been designated a World Heritage Site and is part of Independence National Historic Park.
