Description
This design features a blueprint for the Bauhaus Building in Dessau, Germany. Though it operated only from 1919 to 1933, the Bauhaus was the most influential school of design of the 20th Century. Its work in painting, architecture and product design influenced everything that would come after it. This building, designed by Bauhaus founder Walter Gropius, housed the school from 1925 to 1932. The building’s style has been alternatively referred to as Modernism, Functionalism, Constructivism, Expressionism, International Style, and New Objectivity.
